Synopsis:

Dragons! The very thought of them is enough to send the entire kingdom into a tizzy. After the Jester greets the audience, we find out that neighboring kingdoms have had dragon sightings, much to the dismay of many. Speaking of dismay, Mertonsire – our Jester’s foibled foil, arrives and proceeds to put the proceedings into its perplexing place. Needless to say, Mertonsire doesn’t believe in dragons (So then why did we say it?). Unless dragon hides can be made into a nice pair of boots, Mertonsire wants nothing to do with them!

Mertonsire would also like nothing to do with two strangers, who were found by Royal Guards on the outskirts of the kingdom (Bet you didn’t know kingdoms even had skirts, did you?) Well, they do, and that’s where Fernando and Fredrico Ferducci were found. These two outlandish out-of-towners, with their outrageous accents, may just have the key to insure the kingdom from dragon damage. But it’s not a lock.

Mertonsire doesn’t want the Ferducci’s unique type of ‘help’, and he and the Jester try and find another way to keep the dragon at bay. Of course, what are knights for but for slaying dragons? It turns out they’re very, very good at running away from dragons (St. George to the contrary).

The Royal ‘Execuminator’, a combo-platter of Executioner and Exterminator is brought in, but dragons are not exactly his forte’. Dragons aren’t even his thirte’! Can the Dogcatcher help? What do you think? Even some audience members are brought in, as Royal Messengers are sent by Mertonsire to find out what’s really going on in the other kingdoms.

Is there really a dragon? Is he coming this way? Can he sing? Join your favorite Madrigal Dinner characters, along with some fun new ones, as we find out that breathing fire can give you more than bad breath! The Ferducci’s themselves insure that your audiences will enjoy themselves immensely!
